Storing Materials on a Neighbouring Lot?
Due to limited availability of space for storing materials and equipment near construction sites, many have been using neighbouring lots as temporary laydown. As a leaseholder you can decide whether or not you want this to happen on your property. An email has been sent to all leaseholders identifying key points to consider when entering into an agreement of this sort.
ATCO Updates
ATCO Electric continues to re-install shallow utilities in Cabin Creek and around town. For information on which sites have been released from ATCOs use in Cabin Creek, please visit Cabin Creek Utility Rebuild Project for information.
ATCO has published an updated map showing which lots in Cabin Creek West have been 'released' following completion of utility re-installation work. Builders working on active construction zone properties should contact ATCO directly about starting work on those lots.
Rebuilding Jasper Industry Bulletin
We recommend that construction industry workers involved in rebuilding Jasper follow the 'Rebuilding Jasper Industry Bulletin' to receive important details about laydown areas, material storage, construction worker accommodation and other helpful information for construction workers.
Let your contractor know to click on 'follow' here: https://engagejasper.ca/rebuilding-jasper-industry...
Found an Underground Storage Tank?
If you discover a buried fuel tank during your rebuild, stop work in that area and contact the Parks Canada Impact Assessment Team at environnementjasper-jasperenvironmental@pc.gc.ca. The tank must be assessed, safely removed, and soils tested by a Qualified Environmental Professional (QEP) before construction continues. This helps protect your health, your property, and the environment. For more information visit the Municipality of Jasper's Debris Removal webpage (https://www.jasper-alberta.ca/p/debris-removal).

Sub-Contractor Registration
Prime Contractors with a business license can register sub-contractors using a new form on the Municipality of Jasper webpage: https://forms.office.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?i...
Registering your sub-contractors gets them the same benefits as having a full business license: free entry to the Park through National Park work passes and free parking in residential and paid parking areas (you still have to abide by the parking time rules).
Online Utilities Map
The MoJ has recently set up a new online utilities map that shows the approximate location of water, sewer and stormwater infrastructure in town. This information can be helpful in preparing site plans and knowing where to plan to connect to municipal services. Link: https://www.jasper-alberta.ca/p/utilitymap
