Delivery route for manufactured homes in the R4 districtThe most common oversize loads entering Jasper are manufactured homes destined for the R4 District. All oversize loads entering the townsite are required to review route constraints in advance and coordinate with local utility franchisees to avoid damage to vehicles, utilities, and municipal infrastructure. The preferred delivery route for manufactured homes being delivered into the R4 area is to enter the townsite via the Hazel Avenue (middle) entrance, proceed north along Connaught Drive, turn left onto Juniper Avenue, then proceed via Geikie Street and Bonhomme Street to access the R4 District and final destination. View map here. This designated route has been identified to better accommodate oversize loads and to minimize conflicts with construction activity, utilities, and other development occurring elsewhere in the townsite.

Notice to the public: Public hearing on proposed 2026 Off-Site Levies BylawThe Municipality of Jasper will hold a Public Hearing to receive feedback on the proposed 2026 Off-Site Levies Bylaw during a special meeting of Town Council:Date: Tuesday, March 24, 2026 Time: 1:30 PM Location: Jasper Library & Cultural Centre (Downstairs), 500 Robson Street, Jasper, AB Under the Alberta Municipal Government Act, municipalities are authorized to impose off-site levies. These levies are fees collected from developers to help fund the infrastructure required to support new development. They ensure that net new development contributes toward essential services such as roads, water, and wastewater systems. The proposed bylaw outlines: • Infrastructure projects eligible for levy funding • Levy rates applicable to net new development and redevelopment • The methodology used to calculate levy amounts • Timing of levy payments relative to development approvals The intent of this bylaw is to ensure that growth in Jasper remains fiscally responsible, with appropriate infrastructure in place to support future needs while maintaining a fair balance between public and private investment. The Public Hearing provides an opportunity for residents, leaseholders, developers, and other interested parties to present comments, ask questions, or share concerns directly with Council before a final decision is made. A copy of the draft bylaw and supporting materials is available online, or upon request.
