This application is for businesses who would like to hold a dormitory unit at the Marmot Meadows interim housing site in reserve under their business name until they are able to nominate an employee who will sign a limited term lease for the unit for the winter 2025-26 season.

To support local Jasper based businesses in securing staff, dormitory-style accommodations at Marmot Meadows will be available on a fixed-term lease from October 2025 through April 30, 2026. 40 dorm rooms have been made available for reservation by businesses. Businesses can now apply to reserve rooms under their company name, making it possible to guarantee accommodation for incoming employees even before they are hired.

Once a business hires staff, the nominated employee will sign a lease directly with property management (The Canadian Red Cross) for the reserved room.

In order to reserve a room, Jasper based businesses will be required to provide a deposit at the time of reservation, see below details:

• Applicant businesses will be required to provide a deposit of $1000 per room. As long as a lease is signed with a nominated employee prior to the December 15^th deadline, the deposit will be returned.
• Applicant Businesses who release their reservations by November 15^th will receive a 50% reimbursement of their deposit.
• If the room remains unoccupied and no lease has been signed with the property managers by an individual nominated and employed by the applicant business beyond December 15^th the deposit will be retained, and the reservation will be cancelled.

Please note: Applications received by end of day October 15^th 2025, will be considered in the first round of allocations. This application form will remain open for any future requests; however, space is limited, and we may not be able to accommodate all requests.
